The First Wave plays at Mad Planet for the first time! A perfect combination... Milwaukee's top 80's New Wave & Alternative band performing live at Milwaukee 80's dance club!!! This incredible evening will also feature The Quilz, who are celebrating the release of their new album, "Beneath The Covers With The Quilz" at this event. Furthermore, Subspace will be performing their amazing video visuals during The First Wave's set and will also be DJ'ing throughout the evening.

The First Wave - This acclaimed, WAMI-nominated band presents an incredible 80's New Wave and alternative music tribute featuring the music of artists such as Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths, The Cure, Tears for Fears, and much more! Subspace will be projecting video visuals during The First Wave set that includes footage of the original artists while the songs are performed.
The First Wave has performed high-profile shows in the past at legendary local venues such as Turner Hall and Shank Hall, as well as big festival shows at Summerfest, Bastille Days, and Wisconsin State Fair.

The Quilz - Active since 2015, this DreamPop/IndiePop/Synthpop/Synthwave band is truly well-deserving of their reputation as one of Milwaukee's finest acts. Vocalist Becky Heck and guitarist/keyboardist/producer Sage Schwarm create original tracks featuring cinematic, dreamy vocals with modern production, and an eclectic mix of select covers as well. Their live show is rounded out with an elaborate light show complete with lasers that you won't want to miss!
